BAKU — Helicopter units of the Azerbaijan Air Force recently engaged in a live-fire exercise as part of their 2024 training schedule, the Ministry of Defense reported.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the exercise was meticulously prepared with tasks specified on a map, target reporting completed, and strict safety protocols communicated to all personnel. The helicopters, operating from a base airfield, flew in formation to execute missions against simulated surface targets at a training range. The exercise aimed to enhance the combat proficiency of the helicopter crews, and was reported as successfully completed.
