Baku: Azerbaijan invested 1 billion 989 million 798 thousand manats in construction and installation works in the liberated territories during the first half of 2025.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, this expenditure was sourced from various financial channels, as revealed by calculations based on a report from the State Statistical Committee.
The report highlighted that the highest allocation of funds was directed towards the districts of Kalbajar, Lachin, and Aghdam, with 408 million 11 thousand manats, 303 million 122.1 thousand manats, and 260 million 833.3 thousand manats, respectively. The overall investment in Azerbaijan’s fixed capital for the same period was 8 billion 73.5 million manats, with 6 billion 313.5 million manats dedicated to construction and installation works. Consequently, the funds expended in the liberated territories represented 31.5% of the total construction and installation expenditure in the country.
Additionally, it is projected that 4 billion manats will be allocated this year from the state budget for reconstruction and restoration in these territories. The first six months saw 38.8% of the annual budget, equivalent to 1 billion 552.4 million manats, already utilized for these purposes.
