Baku: Azerbaijan and Ecuador have reached an agreement to exempt holders of diplomatic and service passports from visa requirements on a reciprocal basis. This development was reported by APA during the recent meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee on International Relations and Interparliamentary Ties.
According to Azeri-Press News agency, the exemption is part of a draft law titled 'Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Republic of Ecuador on the Exemption from Visa Requirements for Holders of Diplomatic, Official and Service Passports.' The draft law was discussed and subsequently put to a vote at the committee meeting, where it was adopted in a single reading.
This legislative move marks a step towards strengthening diplomatic and official ties between the two countries, facilitating easier travel for holders of these specific passports.
