Baku: Today, an online meeting was held between the State Customs Committee and the Estonian Tax and Customs Council, as reported by APA-Economics. The meeting aimed to exchange experiences on customs control and clearance operations at customs border checkpoints on goods and vehicles.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the discussion focused on the current state of cooperation between the customs authorities of Azerbaijan and Estonia and explored future development prospects. Participants shared achievements, innovations, and best practices related to the application of information technologies in customs operations. Additionally, the meeting covered topics such as border crossing processes, registration of goods and vehicles, simplifications in border crossing, optimization of transit operations, risk management systems, and the digitalization of customs operations.
