BAKU: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received the credentials of Väino Reinart, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia, emphasizing the potential for expanded bilateral relations and cooperation across various sectors. According to Trend News Agency, during the credential presentation ceremony, President Aliyev engaged in a comprehensive dialogue with Ambassador Reinart. The Azerbaijani leader stressed the importance of broadening the bilateral agenda and exploring new avenues for cooperation, particularly in trade, economy, investment, and other sectors. He expressed optimism about the promising prospects of these expanded relations. Ambassador Reinart conveyed his honor at being appointed and shared his positive impressions of Azerbaijan's developmental strides, particularly in Baku. He affirmed Estonia's valuation of its ties with Azerbaijan, both bilaterally and within the framework of international organizations. The ambassador also highlighted Estonia's support for Azerbaijan's efforts to secure a peace treaty with Armenia and noted the support of international efforts in this regard. Further discussions between President Aliyev and Ambassador Reinart covered the significance of reciprocal state visits, including past visits by the leaders of both nations, which have played a crucial role in fostering diplomatic and bilateral connections. The Azerbaijani President also underscored the importance of discussing development ties within the context of the European Union and other international institutions.
