Azerbaijan and EU Discuss Economic and Connectivity Opportunities

Baku:A meeting was convened between Azerbaijan's Ministry of Economy and a delegation from the EU Council Working Party on Eastern Europe and Central Asia.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, representatives from EU member states and institutions attended the meeting. Huseyn Huseynov, Adviser to the Minister of Economy, discussed the current state and future prospects of Azerbaijan-EU economic relations, focusing on expanding trade and investment cooperation. He provided details on Azerbaijan's economic reforms and measures to enhance the business and investment environment, along with efforts to develop the digital economy.

The discussions also covered topics such as enhancing transport and logistics connectivity, Azerbaijan's role in regional connectivity, and the opportunities offered by the Middle Corridor. Additionally, Azerbaijan's potential in green energy, its efforts to expand cooperation in this sector, and ongoing related projects were highlighted.
