Azerbaijan and Israel Strengthen Tourism Cooperation at Tel Aviv Summit

Tel aviv: Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB) and Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) showcased Azerbaijan’s tourism potential at the ‘New Map’ Travel Summit held in Tel Aviv, Israel, on December 10. The event was attended by over 350 representatives from the tourism industry, indicating a strong interest in enhancing tourism relations between Azerbaijan and Israel.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Israel Mukhtar Mammadov addressed the conference, emphasizing the opportunities for developing tourism relations between the two countries. The summit also featured a tasting session of Azerbaijan’s national cuisine, offering participants a glimpse into the country’s cultural offerings.

The Azerbaijani delegation engaged in B2B meetings with representatives of the Israeli tourism industry during the event. These discussions aimed at fostering collaborations and further expanding tourism exchanges. Notably, during the first 11 months of 2025, the number of Israeli visitors to Azerbaijan more than doubled compared to the previous year, reaching a total of 59,917 people.
