Azerbaijan and Slovakia Enhance Tourism Ties with New Memorandum

Baku: The Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB) and Slovakia Travel have signed a memorandum of cooperation in tourism, marking a significant step towards strengthening bilateral relations in the sector. This agreement was formalized during the Azerbaijan-Slovakia Business Forum, which took place in Baku on July 15.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the memorandum outlines plans for both parties to collaborate on organizing B2B events and familiarization tours aimed at representatives from the tourism industry and media. These initiatives are intended to foster closer ties and expand tourism relations between the two countries.

Furthermore, the memorandum includes provisions for joint marketing and promotional projects. These projects are designed to enhance the international visibility of both nations' tourism potentials and further integrate their tourism industries.

In addition to these agreements, Wizz Air is set to launch direct flights between Baku and Bratislava, enhancing connectivity and facilitating travel between Azerbaijan and Slovakia.
