Istanbul: Azerbaijan's Minister of Energy, Parviz Shahbazov, recently held a meeting with Alparslan Bayraktar, Trkiye's Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, in Istanbul. The discussion focused on advancing energy cooperation between the two nations.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the ministers agreed to expedite the implementation of key regional energy projects. Among these are the Azerbaijan (Nakhchivan)-Trkiye Energy Interconnector and the Azerbaijan-Georgia-Trkiye-Bulgaria Green Energy Corridor. Additionally, they explored potential collaboration within the Caspian-Black Sea-Europe Green Energy Corridor framework.

The projects discussed aim to enhance regional energy connectivity and strengthen energy security, marking significant joint contributions from Azerbaijan and Trkiye in the energy sector.
