Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan Aim to Strengthen Customs Ties

Baku: A meeting was held today at the State Customs Committee with Maksat Khudaykuliyev, Chairman of the Customs Service of Turkmenistan, where discussions focused on expanding customs cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, satisfaction was expressed with the current relations between the customs services of the two countries, highlighting the necessity of further expanding cooperation. Both parties underscored the importance of enhancing collaboration in various areas.

During the meeting, information was exchanged on the advanced experiences gained by the customs services of both nations. Discussions covered issues related to strengthening cooperation in information technologies, customs statistics, risk management, and the organization of customs operations at seaports, among other areas.
