“Memorandum of Understanding on political consutations between Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Iraq” was approved, APA reports.

President Ilham Aliyev has signed the relevant Decree in this regard.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan was instructed to ensure the implementation of its provisions after the Memorandum of Understanding specified in part 1 of this Decree enters into force.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan was also instructed to send a notification to the Government of the Republic of Iraq that the internal procedures necessary for the Memorandum of Understanding to enter into force have been completed.
