Azerbaijan-Belarus Relations Elevated to Strategic Partnership

Baku: Azerbaijan-Belarus relations have officially reached the level of strategic partnership, as highlighted by Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the Milli Majlis, during a joint press conference with Igor Sergeyenko, Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus. Gafarova emphasized that the ties between the two nations are deeply rooted and have successfully stood the test of time.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Gafarova underscored that the mutual interests shared by Belarus and Azerbaijan have consistently remained solid. She highlighted that the relationship continues to thrive across various sectors, characterized by sincere friendship, constructive cooperation, mutual trust, and support. These fundamental principles have facilitated the elevation of their bilateral relations to a strategic partnership.
