Azerbaijan Defense Leaders Review Troop Conditions Near Armenian Border


BAKU — Azerbaijan’s Defense Minister, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, and Deputy Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Hikmat Mirzayev, recently visited military units stationed near the conditional border with Armenia, according to the Azeri-Press News Agency. During the visit, the defense leaders examined the social and living conditions of the troops, affirming that all necessary infrastructure and support are in place to maintain high standards of service.



The Ministry of Defense reported that the facilities for the servicemen are fully equipped with the required material and technical resources to ensure optimal service conditions. During interactions with the military personnel, Colonel General Hasanov discussed the measures being implemented to enhance their service conditions and welfare. These initiatives are part of the broader efforts under the guidance and care of President Ilham Aliyev, who is also the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.



In addition to assessing the living conditions, Colonel General Hasanov addressed the servicemen’s concerns, offering advice to further their professional development. He emphasized the importance of improving their skills and knowledge as a cornerstone of their ongoing professional growth.
