Baku: The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, met with a delegation led by Sel§uk Bayraktar, Chairman of the Board of the Turkish company Baykar, the MoD told APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Colonel General Hasanov noted that relations between Azerbaijan and Trkiye continue to develop in the military sphere, as well as in other areas of cooperation. He highlighted Baykar's role in Trkiye's defense industry and emphasized the importance of enhancing joint production capacity through advanced technological innovations.

Sel§uk Bayraktar expressed gratitude for the hospitality extended to his delegation and highlighted how reciprocal visits contribute to strengthening military and military-technical cooperation between Azerbaijan and Trkiye.

The meeting, attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Trkiye to Azerbaijan, Birol Akgn, included detailed discussions on unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), electronic warfare, unmanned systems, and other areas of mutual interest.
