Azerbaijan Demonstrates National Strength by Reclaiming Occupied Territories


Tbilisi: Azerbaijan has successfully reclaimed territories that were previously under occupation, demonstrating its national strength and resolve, according to a citizen’s report. Sona Mammadova, an Azerbaijani living in Georgia, shared her experience and emotions during a recent visit to the liberated city of Shusha.

According to Trend News Agency, Mammadova, along with other Azerbaijanis based in Georgia, embarked on a journey to their homeland, specifically targeting areas recently liberated from Armenian control. The group’s first destination was Shusha, a city of significant historical importance to Azerbaijan. “Today, we came from Georgia to our native Shusha. It is hard to express our joy and pride in words. Thanks to the efforts of President and Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijani lands were liberated from occupation. May the Almighty rest the souls of the martyrs who gave their lives for the liberation of our homeland,” Mammadova expressed.

The visit not only served as a homecoming
for many but also as an educational trip, where participants had the opportunity to tour the city’s historical landmarks. The journey represents a broader sentiment of national pride and relief following the end of the occupation, highlighting the pivotal role of Azerbaijan’s leadership in the liberation efforts.
