Baku: Thirteen individuals were detained by the State Border Service in June 2025 for violating the state border.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the arrests were reported by the Press Center of the State Border Service.

Among those detained, there were eight Azerbaijani citizens, two Pakistani citizens, one Turkish citizen, one Iranian citizen, and one Ghanaian citizen.

In efforts to combat illegal migration, eight individuals were apprehended while attempting to cross the state border using forged date stamps and passports, or documents belonging to others. Additionally, 905 individuals were detained for violating border regime rules, with appropriate measures taken against them.
