Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) announced monthly information (01-31 August) on the operations carried out in the territories liberated from the occupation, ANAMA told APA.

According to the information, 972 anti-personnel mines, 1,020 anti-tank mines, and 1,121 unexploded military ordnance (UXO) were found in Aghdam, Fuzuli, Zangilan, Gubadli, Tartar, Kalbajar, Khojaly, Khojavand, Lachin, Jabrayil districts and the city Shusha.

5.264,14,4 hectares of land have been cleared of mines and unexploded ordnance.
