Baku: New interparliamentary working groups are being formed in the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament), APA reports. This was reflected in the draft discussed at the meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee on International Relations and Interparliamentary Ties.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the proposed amendment to the Resolution of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan 'On the election of heads of interparliamentary working groups of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan,' suggests the establishment of several new interparliamentary working groups. These include the Azerbaijan-Kenya Interparliamentary Working Group led by Ramid Zakir oglu Namazov, the Azerbaijan-Gambia Interparliamentary Working Group headed by Eyvaz Dashdamir oglu Gurbanov, the Azerbaijan-Laos Interparliamentary Working Group chaired by Gulshan Mammadali gizi Pashayeva, and the Azerbaijan-Maldives Interparliamentary Working Group under Azer Karim oglu Allahveranov.
Additionally, there will be a change in leadership for the Azerbaijan-Nepal Interparliamentary Working Group, with Vasif Gafarov replacing Ramil Hasani.
