BAKU — At a press conference held today, Mazahir Panahov, Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC), announced the establishment of 54 permanent polling stations in the territories recently liberated by Azerbaijan.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Panahov expressed confidence that by the next elections, issues related to voting in these areas would be fully resolved, allowing voters to cast their ballots in their homeland. He detailed the electoral infrastructure, noting that there are 10 internally displaced persons (IDP) constituencies, with 7 fully covering displaced persons and 3 partially covering them. Additionally, there are 574 IDP polling stations serving a total of 397,862 IDP voters.
