BAKU: Azerbaijan has commenced a new training session for a group of reservists as part of the 2024 training plan, a move aimed at bolstering the combat readiness and proficiency of its military forces in alignment with modern warfare demands.

According to Trend News Agency, the training is being conducted in collaboration with the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription. It began with the registration of reservists and their medical check-ups at the assembly point’s headquarters. Participants are being equipped with military uniforms and other necessary provisions to ensure they are fully prepared for the training ahead.

The training session is designed to familiarize reservists with the tactical and technical aspects of the modern weapons and military equipment that are currently part of the Azerbaijan Army’s arsenal. In addition to learning about the operational rules of these armaments, the reservists will also undergo drill training to enhance their practical skills and overall combat knowledge
