Baku — A new governmental body, the State Agency for Antimonopoly and Control Over the Consumer Market, has been established under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Ilham Aliyev has officially signed a decree to form this agency, which is tasked with enhancing the regulation and oversight of monopoly practices and consumer market activities within the country. This move is part of broader efforts by the Azerbaijani government to ensure fair competition and effective consumer protection in its growing economy.
