Baku: President Ilham Aliyev has signed an Order on additional measures to ensure the operation of the Alat free economic zone, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Order states that a 1453.09-hectare portion of the land plot located within the administrative territory of Alat settlement of Garadagh district of Baku city, designated as the territory of the Alat free economic zone and indicated in the land management plan prepared by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan attached to this Order, and belonging to state ownership, has been transferred to the authorized body of the Alat free economic zone with the right of one-time, free of charge and permanent use.

The Ministry of Economy and the authorized body of the Alat free economic zone have been instructed to resolve issues arising from this Order.
