Azerbaijan Exports Nearly 6 Billion Cubic Meters Of Gas To Europe This Year

Baku: Azerbaijan exported 12.7 billion cubic meters of gas in the first half of this year, according to the Ministry of Energy, APA-Economics reports. Of this volume, 5.9 billion cubic meters were supplied to Europe, 4.9 billion cubic meters to Trkiye (including 3 billion cubic meters via the Trans-Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline, TANAP), 1.2 billion cubic meters to Georgia, and 0.7 billion cubic meters to Syria.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Ministry reported that 25.4 billion cubic meters of natural gas were produced in Azerbaijan from January to June 2026. The gas production distribution included 7.3 billion cubic meters from the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli field, 13.7 billion cubic meters from Shah Deniz, 0.8 billion cubic meters from the Absheron field, and 3.6 billion cubic meters from the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR).
