Baku: Azerbaijan has announced the extension of the issuance of investment promotion certificates for a period of six years. These certificates, which will be available from January 1, 2023, are intended for legal entities and individual entrepreneurs who present strategic investment projects in designated areas as determined by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree to formalize this extension. The decree also assigns the Ministry of Economy the responsibility of managing and resolving issues that arise from its implementation. The initiative aims to encourage strategic investments by providing incentives to investors who contribute to the country's economic development through approved projects.
