Gdansk:Azerbaijan showcased its tourism offerings to Poland's travel industry, emphasizing cultural heritage, hiking, and ski experiences during the AVIAREPS Around the World Roadshow Poland 2026, held from October 6 to 8 in Gdansk, Poznan, and Warsaw.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB) participated in the event to promote the country as a year-round destination. The roadshow brought together about 70 tourism professionals across the three cities, facilitating new business connections and raising awareness of Azerbaijan's travel potential.
Visitor statistics reflect growing interest from Poland, with a 13.1 percent increase in Polish citizens visiting Azerbaijan from January to September 2026 compared to the same period in 2025. This rise underscores the potential of the Polish market for Azerbaijani tourism.
Travel connectivity between the two countries is supported by direct flights operated by LOT Polish Airlines between Warsaw and Baku. Additionally, the e-visa system, which allows Polish citizens to apply online at least three working days before arrival or opt for an urgent application processed within three to five hours, simplifies travel planning. The e-visa permits stays of up to 30 days within its 90-day validity period.
AVIAREPS, the organizer of the roadshow, is a global company specializing in representation, marketing, and public relations in aviation, tourism, and hospitality, with over 76 offices in 71 countries worldwide.
