Baku: Hotels and hotel-type facilities in Azerbaijan generated a total revenue of 653 million manats in 2025, marking a 5.9% decrease compared to the previous year.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the State Statistical Committee reported that the revenue breakdown included 61.8% from room services, 27.2% from catering services, 2.9% from medical and health services, and 8.1% from other services. The nationwide one-time capacity utilization rate for these facilities was recorded at 24.4%, a slight increase from 24.0% in 2024.
In terms of regional performance, Naftalan led with a utilization rate of 48.5%, followed by Shabran at 41.7%, and Baku at 36.9%. Other notable rates included Gusar at 31.7%, Sabirabad at 27.7%, Lankaran at 23.3%, and Gabala at 21.5%. Lower utilization rates were observed in Shamakhi (20.5%), Barda (19.5%), and several other regions, with some falling below 15.3%.
