Baku: President Ilham Aliyev has enacted a new Order titled 'On the Indexation of Labor Pensions,' aimed at enhancing the social protection of pensioners by increasing pensions.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, this initiative marks a significant step towards improving the financial well-being of pensioners across the country.

The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population announced in a press release that, under the new Order, all pensions assigned by January 1, 2026, will be increased by 9.3 percent. This increment will be applied through indexation starting from January 1 of this year. The increase aligns with the annual growth rate of the average monthly wage for 2025, as reported by the State Statistical Committee.
