Baku: Azerbaijan will join the International Convention for the Control and Management of Ships' Ballast Water and Sediments, APA reports. A draft law regarding this decision was discussed during a session of the Milli Majlis.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, following the discussions, the draft law on Azerbaijan's accession to the International Convention for the Control and Management of Ships' Ballast Water and Sediments was put to a vote and adopted in a single reading. This marks another step in Azerbaijan's efforts to align with international maritime standards.
