The search and rescue operation by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan has been completed in regarding the fire and explosion incident at the filling station near the city of Khankandi, the ministry said, APA reports.

According to information, as a result of the operation, the rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations took out the bodies of 48 people from the debris and handed them over to the authorities.

Also, necessary security measures were taken by the forces in the area where the incident took place.
