Azerbaijan Prioritizes Strengthening Relations with Brazil, President Aliyev Expresses in Congratulatory Letter


BAKU—Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev emphasized the importance of fostering strong and cooperative ties with Brazil, highlighting the recent advancements in bilateral and multilateral relations in a congratulatory letter to Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva on Brazil’s Independence Day.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev expressed contentment with the progress of Azerbaijan-Brazil relations. In his letter, Aliyev noted the anticipated collaboration during the upcoming 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, set to be held in Baku. He underscored the value of working with Brazil and the United Arab Emirates within the Troika mechanism to sustain the global warming threshold at 1.5°C. President Aliyev also conveyed his best wishes for Brazil’s success in hosting the G20 Summit.
