Baku: Azerbaijan Railways (ADY) has announced new travel options for children on the Baku-Tbilisi-Baku route.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, children under the age of 5 can travel free of charge as long as they do not occupy a separate seat. For children aged between 5 and 10, discounts of up to 50% are available, which may vary based on travel class, the date of ticket purchase, and the season.

Free tickets for children under 5 must be issued, and specific travel rules apply. A child's travel must be based on a valid passport. If traveling with one parent, notarized consent from the other parent is required. Similarly, if a child travels with an adult other than their parents, notarized consent from both parents is necessary.

Passengers have the option to purchase tickets through ADY's official website, the ADY mobile application, and railway ticket offices.
