Azerbaijan Reconstructs Aghdam’s Electricity Network

Aghdam: The electricity infrastructure of Aghdam is undergoing reconstruction, as reported by Azerishiq JSC to APA-Economics. Following the directives of President Ilham Aliyev, efforts are underway to renew the electricity networks across several villages and settlements within the district. The city area has seen the establishment of new power centers.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, for residents who have returned to the villages of Khydyrly, Sarijaly, and Kangarli, 0.4 kV underground lines and 35 kV Self-Supporting Insulated Wires (SSIW-3) have been installed. Additionally, 30 modern-type Transformer Substations (TS) have been set up in these villages. These settlements are now equipped with modern SMS-type meters to ensure efficient power usage.

Furthermore, the construction of a 35 kV cable overhead line extending to the villages of Bash Garvand, Gulluja, Suma, and Namirli has been finalized, with Distribution Devices (DD) installed. Upcoming efforts will focus on extending the work to Eyvazkhanbeyli, ensuring a comprehensive upgrade of the region’s electricity infrastructure.
