Jabrayil: The next relocation caravan, which departed from the Garadagh district of Baku on July 22, reached Jabrayil city, APA reports. At this stage, 53 families consisting of 198 people who were relocated to the city were presented with the keys to their apartments.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, officials of the Special Representation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Jabrayil, Gubadli, and Zangilan districts, as well as the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons, attended the ceremony. Families who were relocated to Jabrayil for permanent residence were provided with apartments in newly constructed buildings.

The residents returning to their native lands expressed their deep gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva for the comprehensive state support they have received. They also thanked the Azerbaijani Army and its soldiers and officers who liberated the occupied territories, and prayed for the souls of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for this cause.

It should be noted that nearly 50,000 people currently reside in Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur. This includes not only the resettled former internally displaced persons but also those engaged in implementing various projects in the region, as well as individuals serving in local branches of state institutions and working in newly reactivated healthcare, education, culture, tourism, industry, and energy enterprises.
