Baku: The World Chovgan Championship, originally scheduled for a different date, will now take place from June 7 to June 14 at the Bina Equestrian Center in Baku, Azerbaijan. This announcement marks a significant update to the international sporting event calendar.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, a total of 10 teams are anticipated to compete for the title in this prestigious championship. Additionally, one team will participate in the tournament through a special invitation extended by the International Chovgan Federation. Azerbaijan has the distinction of having hosted the first Chovgan competition back in 2024.
