Baku: Foreign nationals who filmed unethical videos at Martyrs' Alley have been deported from Azerbaijan, the State Migration Service told APA. The incident involved citizens of Saudi Arabia who were accused of committing indecent acts and filming inappropriate content at the revered site in Baku on August 17 of the previous year.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, a criminal case was initiated under Article 245 of the Criminal Code, which pertains to insulting actions at a grave site, leading to the arrest of all three individuals involved. Initially, the Sabail District Court sentenced them to two years of imprisonment for their actions.
However, a recent decision by the Baku Court of Appeal amended the original verdict, reducing the sentence from two years to six months. Their term of imprisonment concluded today, resulting in their deportation from the country.
