Zangilan: Azerbaijan has announced the successful reclamation of sand and gravel deposits in the regions of Gubadli, Zangilan, and Jabrayil. Since 2021, efforts have been made to restore these areas to their pre-exploitation states, with 20 deposits in Gubadli, 25 in Zangilan, and 14 in Jabrayil being reclaimed. Vahid Hajiyev, the special representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in these districts, shared this information during a meeting in Zangilan city.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Vahid Hajiyev addressed the Working group on environmental issues of the Interdepartmental Center under the Coordination Headquarters for solving issues in the liberated areas. He highlighted ongoing support for the Ministry of Ecology in initiatives such as waste cleanup, waste management, and fire safety. The primary objective of these efforts is to safeguard the natural landscape in the liberated territories.
