Baku: A meeting of the Committee of Senior Officials of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA) was convened in Baku. This session was chaired by the Republic of Azerbaijan, as confirmed by Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs to APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the meeting followed a gathering of the special working group that took place in Baku on February 26. During the session, the Azerbaijani CICA chairmanship outlined its priorities and initiatives for the years 2025-2026. These were reviewed by CICA member countries and regarded as ambitious and proactive.

The gathering underscored the commitment of the CICA member states to foster interaction and confidence-building measures across Asia. The member countries are expected to continue their collaboration based on the discussions held in Baku.
