Azerbaijan Sets 2026 Subsistence Minimum at 300 Manats

Baku: The subsistence minimum across Azerbaijan will be set at 300 manats for next year. This decision is reflected in the law 'On the Subsistence Minimum in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026,' which has been approved by President Ilham Aliyev.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the new subsistence minimum represents an increase of 15 manats from the previous year. The law specifies that in 2026, the subsistence minimum will be set at 317 manats for the working-age population, 245 manats for pensioners, and 260 manats for children.

The draft law underwent discussions before being put to a vote, where it was adopted in its third reading.
