New york: Anar Guliyev, Chairman of the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, delivered a speech at the Ministerial Meeting during the High-Level Political Forum organized by the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) in New York. The Committee informed APA about Guliyev’s presentation, which highlighted Azerbaijan’s reforms in urban planning and sustainable development, along with its achievements and strategic priorities.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Guliyev also discussed the upcoming 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), scheduled to be held in Baku, Azerbaijan, in May 2026. He emphasized the Forum’s role as a crucial platform for sharing urban planning practices, strengthening partnerships, and fostering international cooperation. Guliyev extended an invitation to all countries and international organizations to actively participate in the event.
