Baku: By 2029, the economic impact generated through the use of GenAI in Azerbaijan is expected to reach 70 million manats, APA-Economics reports. This target is set as part of the ‘Strategy for the Development of the Digital Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026-2029.’

According to Azeri-Press news agency, the strategy document outlines that the economic impact from GenAI use cases will start at 10 million manats in 2026, rise to 30 million manats in 2027, and continue to grow to 50 million manats in 2028. The plan demonstrates Azerbaijan’s commitment to integrating GenAI into its digital economy framework over the next several years.
