According to Azeri-Press news agency, the 2025 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine was awarded to scientists Mary Brunkow, Fred Ramsdell, and Shimon Sakaguchi for their discoveries concerning peripheral immune tolerance. In the field of physics, John Clark, Michel Devoret, and John Martinis were honored for their work in quantum mechanics, particularly for the discovery of macroscopic quantum mechanical tunneling and the quantization of energy in an electrical circuit.

The chemistry prize recognized Susumu Kitagawa, Richard Robson, and Omar Yaghi for their development of organometallic frameworks. Hungarian writer Laszlo Krasznahorkai received the 2025 Nobel Prize in Literature for his work, which highlights the power of art amidst apocalyptic themes.

The Alfred Nobel Memorial Prize in Economics was awarded to Joel Mokyr, Philippe Aghion, and Peter Howitt by the State Bank of Sweden for their contributions to explaining innovative economic growth. Meanwhile, the Peace Prize ceremony held in Oslo awarded Ana Corina Sosa, the daughter of Venezuelan Maria Corina Machado, in accordance with the will of Alfred Nobel.
