BAKU: The Azerbaijan Tourism Board has successfully transferred all its information systems and resources to the “Government Cloud,” as part of an ongoing initiative mandated by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev. This move aligns with Presidential Decree No. 718, issued on June 3, 2019, aimed at enhancing the provision of cloud services across governmental institutions.

According to Trend News Agency, the Azerbaijan Tourism Board’s migration to the Baku Data Center, managed by “AzInTelecom” LLC under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, marks a significant step in the country’s digital transformation efforts. By moving its IT systems to the Government Cloud, the board has ensured greater availability and security for its critical systems. AzInTelecom has provided the board with essential cloud services, including Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) for virtual servers and Backup-as-a-Service (BaaS) for backup solutions.

The project also supports the establishment of a robust and sustainable IT infrastructure, offering high-quality services with effective coordination and continuous monitoring.
