This discussion underscored the fruitful outcomes of their collaborative efforts over the past year.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, both leaders expressed their satisfaction regarding the anniversary of the Washington Peace Summit. The summit had been a pivotal event, marked by the Joint Declaration signed in the presence of President Trump, which played a crucial role in ending the longstanding conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia. This move was pivotal in establishing interstate relations and ensuring sustained peace in the region.
President Aliyev conveyed gratitude to President Trump for his efforts in hosting the Washington Peace Summit and contributing to the peace process.
