Moscow: Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Russia Rahman Mustafayev met with First Deputy Speaker of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation Andrey Yatskin, APA's Moscow bureau reports. During the meeting, the two officials deliberated on the outcomes of the Russian parliamentary delegation's visit to Baku on June 17-18, where they participated in the 24th meeting of the Commission for Interparliamentary Cooperation between the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation. The discussions also covered ongoing bilateral issues.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the meeting also focused on enhancing cooperation within multilateral parliamentary platforms. Both sides exchanged views and reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining constructive and productive relations between the Embassy of Azerbaijan and the relevant committees of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation.
