Budapest: Tahir Taghizadeh, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Hungary, has been awarded the Commander's Cross of the Order of Merit of Hungary. The ceremony took place at the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, where the accolade was presented to Ambassador Taghizadeh.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Adam Stifter, Deputy State Secretary of the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, addressed the ceremony. He extended his congratulations to Ambassador Taghizadeh for receiving this distinguished award, which was conferred by the decision of the President of Hungary. Stifter acknowledged the Ambassador's significant contributions to enhancing the relationship between Hungary and Azerbaijan during his service.
The Deputy State Secretary emphasized that the period from 2021 to 2026 witnessed strengthened cooperation between the two nations, marked by advancements in political, economic, energy, educational, and cultural sectors.
Ambassador Tahir Taghizadeh expressed his appreciation for the recognition of his efforts in Hungary and the prestigious award bestowed by the Hungarian government.
