Baku: A phone call was held on June 30 between Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yermek Kosherbayev, as reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to APA. The discussion centered around strategic partnership relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, including the current state and future prospects of both bilateral and multilateral cooperation.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the ministers highlighted the significance of successful cooperation and mutual support within international and regional organizations. They stressed the importance of continued coordinated activities on multilateral platforms. The conversation also involved an exchange of views on the activities and upcoming initiatives under Azerbaijan's chairmanship of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA).

Minister Jeyhun Bayramov expressed satisfaction with Kazakhstan's high-level participation in the Turkic World Week, which was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the First Turkological Congress held in Azerbaijan. He emphasized its role in promoting common history, culture, and spiritual heritage, as well as in strengthening solidarity within the Turkic world.

Additionally, the ministers exchanged views on other regional and international issues of mutual interest, underlining the robust diplomatic engagement between the two nations.
