Baku: Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of Azerbaijan's Milli Majlis, recently engaged in a telephone conversation with Ruslan Stefanchuk, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, to discuss interparliamentary cooperation.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the discussion focused on strengthening the existing relations between Azerbaijan and Ukraine. Both speakers expressed satisfaction with the current state of interparliamentary cooperation and explored ways to further enhance these ties. The conversation emphasized the importance of developing bilateral relations across various domains and encouraged reciprocal visits to foster closer collaboration.

During the call, Speaker Sahiba Gafarova extended an invitation to Ruslan Stefanchuk to visit Azerbaijan, highlighting the significance of such visits in bolstering interparliamentary ties. Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to advancing these relations through joint efforts on both bilateral and international platforms.
