Baku: The signing of a strategic partnership document between Azerbaijan and the United States has been hailed as a historic event by the presidents of both nations. This significant development was highlighted during a phone conversation between President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and U.S. President Donald Trump on August 8.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, the presidents emphasized that the Azerbaijan-U.S. relations have reached a new and higher level, acquiring a strategic character. Both leaders noted that the enhanced bilateral relations contribute to peace and stability across a broader region, marking a pivotal moment in the diplomatic ties between the two countries.
