Budapest:Azerbaijani ©p©e fencer Vahab Fatullayev secured a bronze medal at the Kadet-Junior P¡rbajtor Magyar Kupa 3 in Budapest.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Fatullayev excelled in the junior men's individual ©p©e event, winning all six of his group-stage bouts, which led him to the knockout rounds. He achieved victories against competitors from China and Hungary and defeated Akos Kubinger 15-10 in the quarterfinals. However, Fatullayev narrowly missed advancing to the finals, losing 15-13 to Hungary's Edmond Wentzel in the semifinals, concluding the event in third place.

The international competition spanned two days and featured 149 athletes from Azerbaijan, Hungary, Austria, China, Ireland, Romania, Serbia, and Slovakia.
