Baku: Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with a delegation from the US Chamber of Commerce, led by Khush Choksy, Senior Vice President, International Member Relations and Senior Vice President, Middle East and Trkiye. The delegation included executives and representatives from 31 companies.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the meeting focused on the steps taken towards forming a strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and the United States. Key areas of interest included energy, trade, transport, logistics, and regional connectivity, notably the TRIPP route, as well as economic investments.

The parties appreciated the bilateral contacts and discussions held separately in these areas, which were part of the preparations for the Strategic Partnership Charter following the Washington Peace Summit on August 8 of the previous year. It was highlighted that the upcoming signing of the Charter would further enhance relations.

The meeting also covered Azerbaijan's pivotal role in regional energy security, the development of renewable energy resources, diversification of trade routes along the Middle Corridor, and the favorable business and investment environment in Azerbaijan. Both sides explored opportunities for establishing new connections and other topics of mutual interest.
